BYCZ04-183 – Quantum Technologies for the Czech-Bavarian Region (QuantumNetX)

Program: INTERREG Bavaria – Czech Republic 2021–2027.
Funding provider: SFEU – European Commission – Structural Funds.

Project duration: 1 October 2024 – 30 June 2027.
Project number: BYCZ04-183.

Collaboration:

Internal project participants:

New Technologies – Research Centre (NTC), University of West Bohemia in Pilsen

External project participants:

Deggendorf Institute of Technology (Technische Hochschule Deggendorf)

UBT Future Energy Lab Wunsiedel GmbH

Objectives:

The project aims to establish a Czech-Bavarian network for quantum technologies, involving universities, SMEs, and other stakeholders. This network will serve to transfer knowledge from universities and research centers to representatives of SMEs and other actors, to support the development and use of this technology.

Research centers specialized in this field will provide the necessary expert information and the latest scientific findings. Based on available data, they will create case studies, which will then be presented in a comprehensive and accessible form to SMEs through workshops, networking conferences, and other activities. SMEs and other participants can then build on this knowledge and continue developing and applying these technologies using their resources.

In addition to NTC, project partners include OTH Deggendorf and UBT Future Energy Lab Wunsiedel GmbH.
