We aim to help newcomers – whether they arrive for a long-term position or a short research stay – settle quickly into their professional environment, organise their personal lives, and focus fully on their scientific work. We value cultural diversity as a source of enrichment and approach everyone with respect and reliability.
In cooperation with the Welcome Centre HR/UWB, the Welcome Office NTC provides:
- practical support related to arrival and stay in the Czech Republic (visas, residence permits, healthcare, bank accounts, tax matters),
- guidance within the university environment and assistance with employment processes,
- support for families of international staff (housing, schools and nurseries, leisure activities),
- personal assistance in everyday matters (accompaniment to authorities, visits to doctors, Czech language courses).
