Doctoral studies at the UWB offer a number of advantages such as the connection of teaching with practice, an individual study plan, and the university's own research centers, which offer ideal conditions for independent scientific, research and creative activities.

One of these centers is our research institute NTC and although we do not have our own students, we teach them in cooperation with other faculties. Every year, we also accept students from abroad as part of their internships.

We are the longest-existing research center at the University of West Bohemia and we carry out research and science at the international level. We are proud of the top technical equipment of our laboratories, which students have the opportunity to use for solving dissertations.
